Tech-IT-Out - A sole proprietorship owned by Kent Smith, has been offering tech services, consulting, and value added sales to the north Mississippi area since 1998. Before that I was the Chef Video Engineer at the University of Mississippi. I started working for the University in 1980, were I became responsible for most all technical aspects for broadcast video productions. Prior to my employment with Ole Miss, I worked full time at WTVA Ch9 TV in Tupelo MS while getting my degree from the University. Originally, I’m from Moss Point MS, were I graduated High School and work for my Father's home owned Television Sales and Service business. I guess you could say that electronics and technology has been in my blood from childhood. I have extensive training and practical working experience with electronic repair; broadcast video production and video editing; satellite broadcasting and RF systems; hardware and software system design and integrations, basic and html computer programming; digital imaging; computer forensics; and user technology operational training. Starting my own business in 1998, I work from my home in Oxford MS to be competitive and keep the overhead low to pass the savings on to my customers. I have never advertised or pushed my services… My new customers come by word of mouth from my other satisfied customers. I'm proud of the trust that my customers grant me.
